Amazon S3 Ripper

Guys and Gals,
You need to get educated about what an Amazon S3 Ripper is, how to use it, and how to search for stuff to rip. If you were educated, you would not be wasting time and disk space downloading all this stuff thinking it is Anik's Empire Formula. So, I will take some of my time to teach you what I know because I have gotten a lot of great value from this forum. Please, in exchange, thank me if any of this increases your knowledge even a little bit, or helps in some way, or if you are in a "generous" mood.

1. What is an Amazon S3 Ripper and Why Should You Have One?

When a product creator develops a video course, he will often have Amazon host the files because they are huge and Amazon offers a great, reasonably priced service. Some of these product creators forget (or don't know how) to LOCK access to the files with a password.

An Amazon S3 Ripper will display a list of files in a particular "bucket" (location) on Amazon, allow you to select all or particular files to download (your choice), and download the files you selected to your hard drive. It does this in one "shot" (not you downloading one file at a time), and very quickly, too (like 1.5Mb/sec). Thus, you can steal information. Another plus is knowing the file names of the stuff that the creator used--you'd want to pass on HowToOpenAClickbankAcct.flv, as an example. Since this is illegal, I don't advocate you do this. This post is for informational purposes only.
. How do I use it?

You specify the bucket (on server) and the destination folder (on your hard drive) to download to.

I recommend you create a new folder in Windows Explorer, click on it, then copy the address into the S3 Ripper.
Then you click Find All and a hierarchy list of files on the server in that bucket results.
Select the items you want to download by holding down the control key for more than one item, or select all.
If 2 video files have the same name but different extension, for instance .swf and .mp4, pick one. They have the same content.
Click Download.

There is a YouTube video here, but your ripper may be a little different:

4. How can I look for content on my own?

To find products to download, you perform a search on Google and on Bing with the site operator and the name of the product or the name of the marketer in quotes.
Using the site: parm looks just like this:

site:s3.amazonaws.com "Empire Formula"

5. So is this stuff on this thread Empire Formula?

This thread used jujuq for the bucket.
There is a lot of good stuff there, but I don't think it is Empire Formula.

In 1(ONE) sentence it Lets you download items hosted on Amazon S3 servers if you know the "bucket" name.
